Open Burning: Permit required
Open Burning Season Runs From January 15 to May 1

Unlawful burning can put people, property, and wildlands at risk.
Open burning is always subject to safety and environmental restrictions, so you must contact the Eastham Fire Department before you burn!

• You must obtain a permit from the Eastham Fire Department either ONLINE or IN PERSON. ($10. exact change/check only)
• Burning must be between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm,
• At least 75′ from any dwelling,
• And as close as possible to the source of material being burned.
• An adult must be present and ready to put the fire out at all times.
